Andy & I got together when we were 17 and how life has changed since then! Just a couple of kids we were, now 6 years married with two of our own, Van & Darcie and another on the way! No rest for the wicked but life couldn't be better (or busier!). Andy is a true Gemini, with his split personality - an accountant come videographer, two professions that couldn't be further apart! Pre-kids we did a lot of traveling and documented our trips along the way. It was suggested we get into the wedding biz and we have never looked back!
FUN FACT: Andy is a lawn fanatic. I don't know what features in his camera roll more, photos of the lawn or the kids!? We now have a putting green in the front yard - need I say more!
FUNNY STORY: With Jessie & I being friends for so long, Jessie's parents are like my own! On our wedding night we realised we had 'adjoining rooms' with Jessie's folks... not ideal to say the least haha!

At White Leaf Films, we’re not just co-workers—we’re a bunch of (self-proclaimed) legends who love filming love stories and having a damn good time while we do it. We hype each other up, keep the vibes high, and bring that same energy to every wedding we shoot. So, meet the crew who’ll be laughing, crying (happy tears, obviously), and capturing every moment of your big day like it’s our own.
Ricky
Proud dog dad to our ridgeback pup, Remi (honestly, harder work than a real baby). I started making backyard GoPro videos in 2011, which led to documenting my travels and, eventually, capturing moments for friends and businesses. That’s when it clicked—I could turn my passion into a career and create lifelong memories for loved-up couples worldwide. Winning!
Jessie
Wife to Marc, mother to Stevie & Bailey, and frequently unable to use my inside voice. I'm a firm believer that your wedding day should be entirely about you, and who you are as a couple. There is no cookie-cutter way to get married! So if that mean's you want to get married in your undies with your dog's as your bridal party and your Grandma as your flower girl, then you go glen coco!
Chris
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, but no killer tan or surf ability for this guy! My real passions? AFL, cricket, golf—and most of all, photography. It all started when I "borrowed" my sister’s camera to snap pics of my dog and run around the streets, trying to be the next Jonny Knoxville. From those humble beginnings, I found my love for wedding photography and haven’t looked back!

FAQ's
To lock in a date, we require a $1,000 non-refundable retainer (per package) that will be deducted from the final balance. Along with the retainer we will need a signed wedding agreement and the date is yours!
After you have paid your retainer at the time of booking, we ask the that the remaining 50% is fixed up 3 months before the day and the final payment be paid 15 days prior to your day. If there are additional travel fee's, 50% of of this will need to be paid at deposit stage also.
We love to travel! If you're interested in wedding videography or photography outside of the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Byron Bay area all you need to do is cover our travel costs. We can provide a more accurate travel quote once we know what package/s you are interested in booking.
Normally 6-8 weeks depending on the time of the year. During peak wedding season our timeline is 10-12 weeks, but we always do our best to finish your wedding as soon as we can.
Drone footage is included as part of our coverage, except for when the local rules or weather don’t allow it. This is something we don’t charge extra for as sometimes we can’t fly the drone, but will always do our best to include it!
Yes please! Working an 8 hour+ day works up quite the appetite. A vendor meal at the reception and a place to eat would be great. Ideally we would like to eat when the bridal party eats so we don't miss any important moments.
Our policy for date changes and cancelations includes a non-refundable deposit; this is to protect our business due to turning away bookings that were enquired for on that date. If you change date and we are available, most of the time we can transfer at no extra cost if the new date is within 12 months. If the new date is longer than 12 months away, there may be additional costs if our package prices have updated.
We always arrange a catch before the big day! This usually happens a month or two out from the wedding day. We want to get to know YOU as a person and not just a client. It helps us tell a better story. That’s why we think it’s important to catch up and ask each other questions and gives us a chance to run through the schedule. Most of our catch up's are online, but we are happy to meet up at our office on the Gold Coast if you are local.
At White Leaf Films, we are unique in the way we incorporate your vows and speeches into the music to really highlight the true magic of the day. We find the music sets the tone of the film and we like to hand select music that compliments your personalities and the energy of your wedding day. We love putting back into the creative industry, so all music used is paid/licensed music to support music artists. Of course if we’ve used a song before that you love, please let us know! However, we like to use new songs to ensure your White Leaf Film is personalised and unique!
Yes we do! Seeing your photos in print is the perfect way to relive your wedding story over and over again! Don't let them sit on a USB forever - print them! Get in touch to find out more about the many products we can offer.
Most of our weddings will get shared on our social media accounts in some form or another. This could either be featuring your entire wedding film, a reel or sneak peek images from the day. If for whatever reason you do not wish us to share your wedding day, please let us know ahead of time.
